Questions, answered plainly.
Everton is a private, membership-based practice and does not bill insurance for visits. Lab work and prescriptions may be billable to your insurance depending on your plan, and we can provide documentation for out-of-network reimbursement requests. HSA and FSA cards are accepted for membership and visit payments.
After your introductory consultation, membership begins with lab work matched to the concerns we discussed, followed by a one-hour initial telehealth visit to review your symptoms, results, and plan in depth.
We send lab orders to a draw site convenient to you in California. Results come directly to your clinician and are reviewed with you at your next visit.
Membership includes the lab panels listed in your package. Prescriptions are filled through your preferred pharmacy; medication costs are separate.
GLP-1 costs vary by medication, dose, and insurance coverage. Both manufacturers offer direct self-pay and savings programs that can substantially reduce the price — see LillyDirect (Zepbound) and NovoCare (Wegovy, Ozempic). Your clinician will walk you through the most cost-effective option for your plan.
Yes. With 6- and 12-month memberships, your primary care physician receives a report of your labs and the care plan we've created, so your care stays coordinated.
Not yet. Our clinicians are licensed in California, so patients must be located in the state at the time of their telehealth visits.
You can renew, move to a different package, or continue with à la carte visits as an established patient. Your clinician will recommend what fits your goals at your final visit.
